We are inspired to share the story of Linda
Lettieri, wife of Paul Lettieri and sister of Janet Hittle, who lost her battle with ALS in
2007. In her memory, they continue to raise awareness and funding every year as
team captains at the Napa Valley Ride
to Defeat ALS. We are so proud to have them as supporters of The
ALS Association Golden West Chapter.
Ryan Farnsworth was diagnosed with ALS in 2015
at the age of 29. He continues to live his life to the fullest and sees his
diagnosis as an opportunity to develop an expanded sense of love, joy,
gratitude, and peace. Ryan is the author of a book of poems and inspirational
thoughts entitled, “Seeds of Light Sown.” He, and his family and friends, are
proud supporters of the Napa Valley Ride to Defeat ALS and Walk, where he
celebrated his 30th birthday last year.
Sue Fox, a mother of two and an active member of
the community, was diagnosed with ALS in
1990 and lost her brave battle four years later. Her son, Blair, has continued
to fight against the disease by helping the ALS community through his work as
the Co-Chair of the The ALS Association
Golden West Chapter Young Professionals Group (as well as
volunteering at our Walks to Defeat ALS and Ride to Defeat ALS).
