Registration and Participant Center FAQs

How do I register?
Have you ever participated in an ALS Chapter event in the past? If you answered YES, then you have a username and password for our website! We recommend logging in before you register to make the process easy for you! The system will remember you and all of your past information, including edits to your personal pages. Select 'Register' on the home page to begin.

What are the costs involved, and what do they provide?
There is no upfront fee to participate in the Spartan Race as part of Team Challenge ALS, however, all participants are asked to raise a minimum of $250 to make this event a true team effort and helps support families living with ALS in our community.

Reaching the $250 minimum needs to be done by the day of the event. Let chapter staff help you

Event FAQs

Where is the event?
Killington, VT.  At the Killington Ski Resort.

Where's the parking?
There will be Parking Volunteers at the resort that will guide you.

What time does the event start?
Spartan Racers to Conquer ALS will be assigned a heat start time by Spartan Race organizers.  You will receive an email notification closer to race day with your start time.

Team FAQs

Are there additional charges to have a team?
No, but each member of the team is responsible for raising a minimum of $250 in collected pledges from friends and family.

How many members must I have to form a team?
A team can be two people, twenty people, or more.

As a team captain or member of a team, can I raise all the money and then distribute it to other members of my team?
We strongly discourage this. We believe the Spartan Racers to Conquer ALS is a transformative event. For many people, participating is a challenge. Whether it’s the physical challenge or the effort it takes to reach a fundraising goal, both components are part of the Spartan Racers to Conquer ALS experience. Having every participant raise funds makes charity events special. Everyone participating will have something in common - they provided hope to people living with ALS.

Volunteer FAQs

Will I get a t-shirt for volunteering?
Yes! You'll receive a t-shirt when you check-in at the event. Please wear it as it will help participants know that you're there to help.

Do I have to raise funds to volunteer?
No. There is no fundraising minimum to volunteer, but those wishing to fundraise get a personal page online to help them reach their fundraising goals.

My friends are participating and I plan to volunteer and raise funds. Can I join their team?
Yes! Just contact us and we'll assign you to their team.
