We're so glad you're here at our team fundraising page for Hom's HOMies! Perhaps you don't know much about ALS. Maybe you've never even heard of Lou Gerhig's Disease.
All you need to know is that it sucks (there is no cure).
Now that you're here though, you can help us do something about it!
Even though the prognosis for many ALS patients is not great, we always assumed a guy like Tony would find the strength to defy the odds and push through the pain, humiliation and discomfort to at least see his youngest children graduate from high school or get their driver's license.
ALS took Tony from us on September 19, 2013 and it still doesn't seem real. We all grieve in different ways and for me, it means raising a boat-load of money to find a cure for ALS.
We love this family too much to sit idly by, which is where you come in:
Join our team. Raise more money. Walk with us in Mesa on November 20, 2021
Or, donate some cash. Help find a cure.
Our Very Best HOMies
Ever since we met the Hom's 6 years ago, they have become our second family and lifelong friends. Jodi and Tony have amazing kids. They are all superbly thoughtful, well-mannered and funny at the same time. The kids may argue this point, but they represent all the things you'd expect from great parenting.
Our kids have never known life without the Hom's, and we're so thankful for that. We're especially thankful for the traditions and fun times we have with them each and every year. Things like:
Gorging on Mr. Davenport's 3 types of stuffing at Thanksgiving
Sledding and snowball fights in Flagstaff
Finding pictures they've swapped out while house-sitting for us
