In memory of an amazing husband, father, brother, uncle and friend, Carl’s Crusade will be talking part in this year’s ALS Walk in Long Branch, NJ on October 9th.
Please consider joining us or a donation to the ALS Association who continues to provide services and equipment to families dealing with ALS and who contributes to the research to find a cure for this progressive degenerative disease. They helped out our family through the entire process of my dad’s sickness and we’d love to be able to give back to an outstanding organization!
Thank you all for your continued support and for helping to carry on his legacy. Even though it wasn’t his time, he fought until the end, and we will continue his fight until there is a cure!
Why We Need Your Help
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow and breathe. The life expectancy of a person with ALS averages 2 to 5 years from the time of diagnosis.
Every 90 minutes a person in this country is diagnosed with ALS and every 90 minutes another person will lose their battle against this disease. ALS occurs throughout the world with no racial, ethnic, or socioeconomic boundaries.
ALS can strike anyone. Presently there is no known cause of the disease, yet it still costs loved ones an average of $250,000 a year to provide the care people living with ALS and their families need. Join the movement to provide help and hope today!
