Anyone who knew our dad,Ted Anthony Sisneros, knows that he loved five things: his family, The Beatles, pole vault, football, and barbecues. Dad was diagnosed with ALS in November 2015 and he faces the disease with admirable grace.
Our Mom, Lisa worked every single day to provide the best care to slow, stop, and reverse the symptoms of ALS. However, Dad lost his life on February 1, 2019.
Our family still needs your help remember our Dad and help other families continue to fight this. Walk to Defeat ALS, sponsored by the ALS Association, will take place on October 5th. We will be walking for our Dad and are seeking monetary donations to help support nue cause. You can donate on this page to help us meet our fundraising goal. Funds raised by the Walk to Defeat ALS will help our local ALS chapter provide care and support services to those living with ALS.
We cannot thank you enough for all of you for your support, thoughts, prayers, and love.
Thanks for your support!
Jeff, Shelley, Maretta & Kourtney
Important Message from the ALS Association:
Often referred to as Lou Gehrig's Disease, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow and breathe. The life expectancy of an ALS patient averages 2 to 5 years from the time of diagnosis.
Every 90 minutes a person in this country is diagnosed with ALS and every 90 minutes another person will lose their battle against this disease. ALS occurs throughout the world with no racial, ethnic, or socioeconomic boundaries.
This crippling disease can strike anyone. ALS costs loved ones an average of $200,000 a year to provide the care ALS patients need. Help make a difference and donate or join a walk today.
