As many of you may know, about two and a half years ago Theanna was diagnosed with ALS. It has changed our lives significantly and has opened our eyes to the struggles people with a degenerative disease face and the impact it has on their family.

Amyotrophiclateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow and breathe. The life expectancy of a person with ALS averages 2 to 5 years from the time of diagnosis.
