Anne Laughlin Dybala nee Olden was diagnosed with ALS in 2014 and passed away on June 19, 2017. It was so hard watching this brilliant, beautiful, and creative person lose her ability to swallow, speak, and breathe (without a ventilator) and eventually her life. We started walking for a cure as soon as Anne was diagnosed and she walked with us the first time in the Woodlands. We have walked in her memory for the past two years. We do not want any other person to go through what she did. We thank all of you who have walked with us, who have been with us in spirit and with comforting words, and who have supported ALS Texas financially.
Anne was a daughter to William and Mary Olden and sister to Barbara, Patricia, Rebecca, William, Matthew and Michael. She was the wife to Robert "Bob" Dybala and mother to Kristen and Eric..
She was a lover of family and friends, butterflies and flowers, travel, food, and fine wine.
She was a scholar of genealogy, history, and English grammar. She was a teacher, artist, gardener, dancer, editor, and leader.
She is greatly missed for her wit, wisdom, kindness, and love.
