Thank you for helping us reach our fundraising goal! Together we can make a difference in the lives of those affected by ALS. Our team is committed to raising money to fund research for ALS to find treatment and a cure. All donations to the team will be designated specifically to research.

Jeff (49) known to his friends as Norman, is a husband to my sister and father to their two wonderful kids (Lane 18 and Shelbe 13.) Jeff works for the City of Mesa and in the fall he noticed his arm strength was depleting. My sister, Carol, also noticed that his arms were losing their muscle tone. After extensive tests, the family got the devastating news that Jeff has ALS. Needless to say we who love, and there are many of us who love Jeff, are numb.
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow and breathe. The life expectancy of a person with ALS averages 2 to 5 years from the time of diagnosis.
That’s why we’re participating in the Walk to Defeat ALS. To bring hope. To raise awareness. To provide resources and services to families free of charge. To help unlock the mystery of ALS and find the key to treatments and a cure.
While we understand that not everyone is able to financially donate, the power of prayer is priceless. We are fighting this by praying for a cure - not just for Jeff but for everyone affected by this disease. Please join us in the fight to end ALS!
