Hi friends! This is my second year participating in the Walk to Defeat ALS. Before starting my job with the ALS Association, I was unaware of the monster that ALS truly is. Since March of last year, I have had the time to really immerse myself in the community and have had the chance to get to know so many wonderful families. Unfortunately, I have also lost so many ALS patients I grew close to. But - the people living with ALS that I've grown to know have shown to be some of the most brave, positive, and sweet people. Even through a terminal disease they wake up each and everyday and continue to fight with a smile on their face. I plan to keep fighting just as they are for a world without ALS. Join me in my fight by attending the walk with me or donating to my team.
