Team Stephanie consists of myself, my primary supporter Suzanne, Steph's family and friends, and our family and friends who support this humble effort. Getting ready for the ride late this afternoon I broke to Motobecane Mirage (1970's edition) down for cleaning, waxing, examining, and chain cleaning. Tomorrow I hope to find the time to reassemble the cleaned and finished parts. Everything looks good except the spokes on the front wheel seem to be the oldest parts of the bike. I will ask if they need replacement. I will also drop the bike off at Bikesports on Ridge Pike for a tuning and lubrication. I still have ten days for training, and resting, and last but not least lots of carbs in the day or two before the ride. Our Dear Friend John Schick was able to go to the ALS Association (Philadelphia)'s website and view the 50 mile (49.8) trek that I am signed up for. He has a friend with a dairy farm on Delsea Drive which we all will pass on the ride.Maybe he'll have a milk stand on the roadway. Looking for dry mild weather, but we will ride even if it rains. My Thanks to all of you...
Please note that there is still time to donate to the ALS Society in the name of Team Stephanie

Yesterday, Saturday June 23rd would have been Stephanie's 49th birthday. ALS took her from her husband Todd and from all of us. Team Stephanie is dedicated to our friend Stephanie Lotti, recently of Atlanta, Georgia and formerly of King of Prussia Pa. My wife and I have known her since she was a baby. Her parents are close personal friends of ours from way back. Stephanie was an unoffical neice along with her sister Tara. We saw them grow up, go away to college and get married. Stephanie contracted ALS not too many years ago and she and her husband have been dealing with it. Unfortunately, Stephanie died in April or this year from the ravages of the disease. This left her husband and her family at a loss as to why such a vibrant, energetic and intelligent person should be taken from us.
Our Team is raising money against ALS and hopefully making a difference in the lives of those impacted by this devastating disease. We are a part of Team Challenge ALS because we are committed to raising money and awareness to support people right in our community who are living with ALS. The time is now to join us and help us push towards a treatment and a cure.
