We are back for a third year to raise funding for ALS!!! This year we have enlisted the help of the Krefski family who will be cycling as well. The ride will take place in Wildwood, NJ on June 15, 2019. Anyone is welcome to join our team if you are available. The ride options are 10,25,50,75 and 100 miles.
ALS, or amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and the spinal cord.
Both our families have been directly affected by this disease.
Strength in numbers-Lost but won
Most of us are familiar with the Disney movie "Cars.” The story has a few messages intertwined in the plot. The main character "Lighting McQueen” tries to take on all duties of winning a car race by himself. As you can imagine, he fails miserably. It’s only after he gets lost in a small, broken down town, named "Radiator Springs", that he realizes in order to win, he needs help. With the assistance of his new founded friends he just met in the town, he enters the race. He is just about to take the win, but stops short of the finish line to help a fellow racer who has crashed. Even though another race car wins due to lighting McQueen’s unselfishness, Lighting McQueen is actually the real winner. With the help of his new friends, he is able to put Radiator Spring back on the map. This in return brings in funding to restore the town. “Lost but Won.”
Please support us as we ride 10-100 miles on June 15th in Wildwood, NJ.
Thank you in advance for your support.
