Message from your Coordinator
Hello everyone! We are so thrilled you are joining us for the Walk to Defeat ALS! Please don't hesistate to contact me if you have ANY questions!
The Walk will be held at Wherever you want it to be! on Sunday, October 3, 2021!
The coronavirus pandemic forced us to hold our 2020 Walks as virtual events, but our teams rose to the challenge and hosted Mini-Walks all around the region raising over 77% of our original goal! While we would love to gather in person again for the 2021 Walk to Defeat ALS, we must consider the health and safety of all of our participants. Therefore our 2021 Walks will again be held as Mini-Walks. You can “Walk Your Way” on a route of your choosing, whether it’s at a local park, around your neighborhood, around your yard, or even around your living room. Thank you for joining us as we spread our message of hope all around the region!

How to get a 2021 Walk to Defeat ALS T-Shirt
Statistically speaking, someone around the world is diagnosed with ALS every 90 minutes, and every 90 minutes someone loses their battle with ALS. Recognizing the importance of "every 90 minutes," the T-shirt minimum is $90. It is our hope that this minimum will reinforce this critical statistic and help you develop a better understanding of the disease.
Remember - official Walk to Defeat ALS T-shirts are given to registered Walk participants who raise $90 or more. This benefit is awarded to registrants who raise funds, not to teams or donors. If you have a donor who would like a shirt, we recommend asking them to register as a member of your team and make a self donation.
