Fees and Fundraising
The registration fee includes everything you need to make your Ride to Defeat ALS fun and successful. It includes breakfast and mechanical support at the start, snacks, hydration, medical support, bike mechanics, and restrooms at the rest stops, SAG vehicles and ride marshals on the route, and lunch, massages, and entertainment at the finish line.
Ride on a Team
A team can have any number of riders, but to qualify for team awards your team should consist of three or more riders, virtual riders, or volunteers (who are fundraising) by event day. You can register as a Family & Friends Team, a Corporate Team, or a Civic Team. To get started, you only need one person to register, but to qualify as for team awards you will need at least three members (including the team captain) on your team the day of the event.
Keep in mind that there’s a Best Team Name award, so get creative. If inspiration doesn’t strike right away, don’t worry, you can change your team name later through Participant Center (check out FAQs for how) or you can contact us and we’ll do it for you.
Stick around after the ride for an awesome Post Ride Party at Holiday Inn Harbourside with entertainment, lunch and cold beer.
A lunch of grilled chicken, pasta, and salad will be served beginning at 11:00 am. Lunch and one beer or iced tea is included in your entry fee as a Rider. Any additional beer or soft drinks will be available for purchase. Family and guests may purchase additional lunch tickets for $20.00 per person. Check back soon for more details!
