Over fourteen and a half years have passed since our cousin Jemma was diagnosed with ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease. Jemma is now 44 years old and unable to eat, dress or move without the help of her husband, Jason. Throughout her courageous battle Jemma remains a giver and a fighter.
This September FOR THE LOVE OF JEMMA is gearing up for our team’s 14th annual Walk to Defeat ALS. We will also Walk in memory of our loving parents and grandparents Rita and Herb Chestler. Throughout their own heroic battle with cancer, they were truly dedicated to finding a cure for Jemma and all ALS patients. They were a constant presence at the annual Walk regardless of their declining health. They were a wonderful team and the strongest people we knew
Visit als-ny.org to read about some of the major projects the ALS Association is currently researching. Your donations have provided a significant amount of funding for these projects. Thank you for giving hope to Jemma and to the others afflicted with ALS.
Please help us continue to fund promising research initiatives by making a donation to “FOR THE LOVE OF JEMMA.” No amount is too large or too small, and all donations are 100% tax deductible.
From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for your continued help and support.
