Summer is fading away and and autumn foliage is right around the corner. That means, the Walk to Defeat ALS is upon us! Give Em Heltz will be walking in honor of Grandmother, Lucrezia Heltz, and Pat O'Shea.
For those who don’t know, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, often referred to as Lou Gehrig's Disease, is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow and breathe.
This year’s walk will take place on Saturday, September 21st at The Dudley H. Davis Center at the University of Vermont (590 Main St, Burlington, VT 05401). Once again, we are asking for any possible donations for to support further research patient services in Northern New England. Whether you join the walk, make a donation, or simply spread awareness, any and all will be appreciated! Every day we get closer to breakthroughs in research and it's because of generous people like you.
So please join us this year. We hope to see you there.
