Welcome to My Personal Page
Thank you for visiting my personal page through the ALS Association. For those of you that didn't know, Judy was diagnosed with ALS in October of 2008. Even though this was a shocking and crushing blow Judy is pushing on and is still fighting to this day. She recently retired from GPISD and has spent most of her time with family and traveling. She has recently been to Hawaii, Colorado and Las Vegas. She also enjoys going to Ranger Games with her Husband Lloyd. She can't do all the things that she was once able to do, but that hasn't stopped her from living life to the fullest. Judy has always been one to lend a helping hand to friends and family, and now she needs our help. Please join my team and help the fundraising effort to find a cure for ALS.
My whole family looks forward to seeing you October 24, 2009 at The Walk to Defeat ALS. If you can’t make it, please consider making a donation. Every little bit counts.
Thanks

Why We Need Your Help
Often referred to as Lou Gehrig's Disease, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow and breathe. The life expectancy of an ALS patient averages 2 to 5 years from the time of diagnosis.
Every 90 minutes a person in this country is diagnosed with ALS and every 90 minutes another person will lose their battle against this disease. ALS occurs throughout the world with no racial, ethnic, or socioeconomic boundaries.
This crippling disease can strike anyone. Presently there is no known cause of the disease though support is bringing researchers closer to an answer. In the mean time it costs an average of $200,000 a year to provide the care ALS patients need. Help make a difference and donate or join a walk today.
