Team Nanci is once again participating in the Los Angeles County Walk to Defeat ALS in support of everyone whose lives have been touched by ALS.
It has been five years since the Ice Bucket Challenge swept the world and became the greatest outpouring of support that the ALS community has ever seen. It marks the 5th anniversary of our beloved Nanci Ryders’s diagnosis in August 2014 with this devastating disease.
In those five years, Nanci has lost the ability to eat, move and speak though her mind is as wicked as ever. WE NEED YOU, her family, friends and colleagues, to use your voices and platforms to continue the fight that Nanci started in 2014 and continues to battle to this day!
Please mark your calendars for Sunday, November 3 at Exposition Park in DTLA and join Team Nanci at the Los Angeles Walk to Defeat ALS! Our 5th Walk is going to be a fun day, and Nanci always loves seeing everyone!

Why We Need Your Help
Often referred to as Lou Gehrig's Disease, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow and breathe. The life expectancy of an ALS patient averages 2 to 5 years from the time of diagnosis.
Every 90 minutes a person in this country is diagnosed with ALS and every 90 minutes another person will lose their battle against this disease. ALS occurs throughout the world with no racial, ethnic, or socioeconomic boundaries.
This crippling disease can strike anyone. Presently there is no known cause of the disease yet it still costs loved ones an average of $200,000 a year to provide the care ALS patients need. Help make a difference and donate or join our walk team today.
