Check-in begins at 8:00 am and we walk at 9:30 am!
Daniel Knight, a longtime employee of Black Knight, Inc, was diagnosed with ALS/Lou Gehrig’s Disease in 2017. With no cure, no real treatment, and a life expectancy of 2-5 years, it was quite a blow for Dan, Cathy, and their son Zak. It’s time to come together as Knights for Knight to make a difference to support Dan and all those affected by ALS. Together we will raise money to make a difference in research so that a cure can be found as well as a real treatment. Please join Knights for Knight in the Walk to Defeat ALS® on April 4 or choose a team member from the list and donate to the cause. Even if you can’t walk, come cheer us on. We’d love to see you!

Why We Need Your Help
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow and eventually breathe. The life expectancy of a person diagnosed with ALS is 2 to 5 years. Death is usually by respiratory failure while the muscles in the body are “frozen” though the mind remains sharp and brutally aware of it all.
Every 90 minutes a person in this country is diagnosed with ALS and every 90 minutes another person dies from it. ALS occurs throughout the world with no racial, ethnic, or socioeconomic boundaries.
ALS can strike anyone. Presently there is no known cause of the disease, yet it still costs loved ones an average of $250,000 a year (much not covered by insurance) to provide the care people living with ALS and their families need. Join the movement to provide help and hope today!
