My wife Linda lost her battle to ALS in March of 2018. We would have celebrated her 62nd birthday in September if treatment had been available.
It was Linda's personal mission to promote awareness and education until a cure for ALS is found. To further this cause, she donated her brain to research. She asked me to remain diligent in my commitment to the ALS Association to honor her memory.
The ALS Association played a crucial role in supporting us as Linda's disease progressed. They provided ongoing emotional support and supplied much needed specialized equipment to ensure Linda could remain in our home. This is why I continue to support this outstanding organization.
On March 14, 2020 the ALS Association will be holding it's annual fundraiser, the Walk to Defeat ALS. The date marks the 20th anniversary of this event. Since this fundraiser's inception, important strides have been made in research and treatment. Sadly, a cure is not yet available.
Please consider making a donation in Linda's memory to this very worthy cause.
