This year will be the teams 17th year in joining the ALS Association for the annual Walk to Defeat ALS! Our team will be walking in our own neighborhoods due to COVID on September 19th. We continue to do this because of the donations and encouragement from all of you; and couldn't do this without your support!
We are walking in memory of Sandy Kasner, who lost her seven-year battle with the terminal disease, and others who are facing ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease). We are constantly reminded of her strength and spirit, which encourages us to participate with the ALS Association in finding a cure. Our team is rightly named Sandy's Angels in honor of the many people that lent a caring heart to her and her family throughout the years.
The staff of the ALS Association helps families in their day-to-day struggle with ALS. They offer many crucial patient service programs, as well as fund cutting edge research worldwide. There is no cure yet for ALS, but with your help there is hope. Please help by making a donation - large or small - to fight ALS. Please also have Sandy Kasner in your thoughts as we walk in memory of her and others that are fighting, lost the fight or are touched by those with ALS.
Also if you are interested in walking with Sandy's Angels we would love to have you join our team. Thank you in advance for your support!
