It’s that time of year again! The Walk to
Defeat ALS in support of Linda Perez. The past three years Team Linda
has had successful campaigns to help support the fight against
ALS. Last year Team Linda raised the most money totaling over $10,500!!!
The ALS association has provided much
needed support and equipment to help prolong Linda's life. Since Linda has
been diagnosed she has lost the ability to walk, talk, eat and drink
and now requires a ventilator to breathe. This disease has been devastating to Linda
and the entire Perez family. As you all know, Linda has always
been a fighter and she will not let ALS take away her will to be happy and to
live life. She is #LINDASTRONG.

Often referred to as Lou Gehrig's Disease, amyotrophic lateral
sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs
the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow and breathe. The life
expectancy of an ALS patient averages 2 to 5 years from the time of diagnosis.
Every 90 minutes a person in this country is diagnosed with ALS
and every 90 minutes another person will lose their battle against this
