Mission Statement

To lead the fight to cure and treat ALS through global, cutting-edge research, and to empower people with Lou Gehrig’s Disease and their families to live fuller lives by providing them with compassionate care and support.

Carol was a beloved actress, singer, and dancer. She contracted ALS at age 39 and died a year later. As much as her life was inspirational, the way she dealt with her tragic death was even more so. In response to this, her brother, Eric, founded Carol's Team to raise awareness of ALS through participation in marathons and adventure races.
