2019 Ride to Defeat ALS - MA

Johnny's Reply

Above is a picture of my dad, Johnny T. Godfrey, with his plane that he named "Reggie's Reply".  Johnny was responsible for downing/destroying 36 enemy aircraft during WWII.  He named his plane after his brother, Reggie, who drowned at the start of WWII thanks to a UBoat attack on his ship. Johnny was able to avoid being killed by the Nazis, but he couldn't escape the ravages of ALS.  He succumbed in 1958 at the age of 36.

My team and I are out to reply to ALS for Johnny's death and hopefully make the world a better place by defeating this dreaded disease.

Together we are challenging ALS and making a difference in the lives of those impacted by this devastating disease. We are a part of Team Challenge ALS because we are committed to raising money and awareness to support people right in our community who are living with ALS. The time is now to join us and help us push towards a treatment and a cure.
