2019 Ride to Defeat ALS - MA

Team CRB

Thanks for visiting our team page! The CRB team in Boston is participating in the local Ride to Defeat ALS charity bike ride in Wayland, MA. This charity event challenges your body while raising awareness and support for ALS.

ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease, is a deadly illness with no known cause or cure. It affects the motor neurons in a person's brain and spinal cord. When the motor neurons die, the muscles waste away. Gradually, a person is robbed of the ability to walk, speak, eat, and eventually breathe. Upon diagnosis, doctors give ALS patients only two to five years to live.

Donations will go to the ALS foundation supporting research for a cure, care services for those impacted by the disease and public policy efforts in Washington DC.
