SMT P&C- ALS Fundraiser/ Ice Bucket Challenge

The Smithfield People and Culture team is a group in Risk and Compliance (R&C) that engages R&C associates at every level to create a supportive environment and seeks to improve the culture of the organization by helping to build a level of trust, collaborative spirit and executive support.

The month of May is the official Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) awareness month and we are excited to support a great cause and raise funds for needed research to fight to treat and cure ALS.  This fundraiser is to benefit the ALS association and on June 10th, we will have an Ice-Bucket challenge.

This community service project is the recipient of the 2015 Fidelity Cares -Your Community Grant Program.  The Fidelity Cares grant award is for $500, and we look forward to raising additional donations for this cause. 

We are uniting with others to support the fight to treat and cure ALS. We are passionate about this cause, so we are taking action and need your help. The ALS Association is making strides for a cure – but more needs to be done. Please help our team reach our goal by making a donation to our fundraiser!
