09/19/2023  I had trouble putting the fundraising page on Facebook. The link on my ALS page didn't work. I had to call the ALS Assoc. & they gave me a workaround solution.

09/19/2023  I have raised $$ for >7 years now in memory of a good friend who died of ALS. Most of my supporters have contributed every year although I sense they are tiring of my requests year after year. Even my late friend's family has stopped riding with me!
09/19/2023  i just put one post on linkedin and raised over $1300 from my Connections (i have about 650)
09/19/2023  I happily share info on social media but tend to be uncomfortable sending requests directly to people. Overall it went well.
09/19/2023  I sent emails to family and friends. Also had a link on Twitter (X)

09/29/2023  My school had a dress down day, which raised my $250, and others contributed too.
09/19/2023  I have my donation matched by my company. The above question should include "previous participant"

09/21/2023  no problems reaching my target through facebook and directed emails.
09/26/2023  The tools available were easy to use for initial setup. More samples of emails or ideas to raise money would be helpful.
09/20/2023  The fundraising page was easy to set up and personalize. However, I was not able to leave comments for individual donors. The Classy support site never responded to my questions.
09/26/2023  There is still a lack of awareness about ALS. Certainly anyone who has had direct experience with this disease was more receptive to donating. I believe more personal stories told about real people in the mass media would significantly improve fundraising
