Every year in May, The ALS Association invites advocates from all over the country to come together in Washington, D.C. to participate in National ALS Advocacy Day and Public Policy Conference. As a part of our public policy program, many inspiring advocates champion the fight against ALS all year long. Taking the message from Capitol Hill to their hometowns, ALS Association Chapters and advocates continue to lead the charge by participating in district meetings with members of Congress during the annual August recess.
