The ALS Consortium of Epidemiologic Studies is intended as a resource for scientists who are conducting or plan to conduct research to identify environmental and genetic factors associated with sporadic ALS. ALSA expects that the information gathered will prove helpful for any national registries or databases and will enhance ability to answer important questions about the environmental and genetic determinants of ALS.
