ROUND 2: #ALSIceBucketChallenge

ROUND 2 of the #ALSIceBucketChallenge picked up steam this August, gaining the attention of local and national media, celebrities and professional athletes, public figures and community leaders, as well as the ALS community at large. With your help, the most promising research studies in the world are receiving the funding they need to find treatments and the cure, while care of people living with ALS and advocating on their behalf remain key priorities. Thank you to everyone who is participating in the Challenge again this year, and we look forward to seeing buckets poured #EveryAugustUntilACure!

ALS Advocates Continue the Fight During August Recess

MeetingsEvery year in May, The ALS Association invites advocates from all over the country to come together in Washington, D.C. to participate in National ALS Advocacy Day and Public Policy Conference. As a part of our public policy program, many inspiring advocates champion the fight against ALS all year long. Taking the message from Capitol Hill to their hometowns, ALS Association Chapters and advocates continue to lead the charge by participating in district meetings with members of Congress during the annual August recess.
