Looking sharp at Caitlin and Corey's wedding in September, 2012

My Dad, Roy Motley, was diagnosed with Multiple System Atrophy (MSA) in 2007.  MSA is a terrible neurological disease with the same progression as ALS, but over a longer time period.  My Dad and our family was so very fortunate that our Mom (the most selfless, loyal, beautiful person I know) was able to keep him comfortable and well cared for at home for all of the years he endured this disease.

Unfortunately, as the disease progressed, we learned that there is very little support available in the community to help those with permanent disabilities and progressive degenerative disease stay at home.  We hope that as Dad's family and friends remember him and seek to memorialize him, they will do it in the form of a gift to the ALS Association Community of Hope.  All gifts will go toward the provision of services and support to help those who face the same challenges we have.
